This product was designed with the ergonomics of the attending physician’s hand in mind. During the industrial design process, we faced many functional challenges as the device is packed with many complex mechanical components and systems. Despite this, we were able to meet the majority of the project’s demands.
Vessi is part of bladder cancer treatment system which uses a disposable element (gun) and a desktop controller. The Vessi system uses freezing technologies which freeze the tumor to enable its removal using just a local anesthetic – yet another benefit of the Vessi system.
Due to the system’s use of specialized technologies, treatment can be performed not only in hospital, but also in the physician’s clinic.
